Here we go...
August 17 2015
Hey everyone, it's Andrea here!
Let me start by saying THANK YOU for taking the time to visit the store and blog! This is a very exciting opportunity for me, and I'm extremely thankful I get to share it with you.
This blog doesn't have a "theme". I will frequently post about random topics that I feel like writing about or about anything you suggest I write about! Think about what you would ask if you were able to spend 1 hour with me, and let me know. This first post will be introducing the store and the purpose of opening the store. So, here we go!
If you're still wondering what the heck the name of the store means, it's "Cute Clothing". Don't worry, it also took me a few tries to figure out how to pronounce the name. That's right. I didn't come up with the name. I'm lucky to have a creative husband who came up with "Kyoot Klothing".
I decided to start this store as a way to make a little extra income while in law school. I also wanted to be able to provide women of all sizes affordable fashion. I'm all about equal opportunity, and it bothers me that "plus size" women do not have as many choices as women in smaller sizes. That being said, I apologize for not having the same items available in all sizes. It's very hard to find the same items in S-3X. I will not be able to provide the same items in sizes S-3X until I generate enough revenue to scale up. However, you will be the first to know when I am able to provide the same items in all sizes!
Another matter of business that is important to me is philanthropy. I'm happy to announce that 10% of ALL purchases will be donated to a charity chosen by the customers each month! I plan to raise the percentage of donations in the future, but for now I will need to use as much revenue as possible to provide a larger selection of awesome items for you! At the end of each transaction, the customer will be provided the opportunity to vote on a charity to donate the proceeds to. Four charities will be available to vote on. Do feel free to suggest a charity to be voted on. The exception to the voting will be the first month of business. The charity for the first month will be Texas Children's Hospital. Texas Children's Hospital has been a charity near and dear to me since I was 16, and more recently, the charity has proven why it is so deserving (that's a story for another day).
As I mentioned before, I am a law student. Please bear with me! I will do my best to ship out the same or next day, but I guarantee all purchases will be shipped within 3 business days.
I encourage everyone to sign up for the newsletter. I promise not to flood your inbox. You will only be notified of new items, sales, and giveaways! New items will be added quite frequently! And of course, I would greatly appreciate it if you encouraged your friends and family to visit the site and sign up for the newsletter.
I believe that's all for now. Again, I thank you for visiting the blog and the store. Don't be a stranger. Feel free to leave a comment or send an email!
